A Heritage Paraprofessional is an individual who has completed an established Forest Service training and certification program in methods and techniques of archaeology and historic preservation utilized within the USDA Forest Service for the National Forest Region where the Paraprofessional will work and has met all other requirements to maintain certification.
The Heritage Paraprofessional class is a three day class room training. After the classroom training, the student will go back to their home unit, or work on a Forest Service unit, to complete the remaining guide book tasks.
